Following the death of her oldest daughter at only 16 years old, Andrea Gambill looked for ways to deal with her grief and loss by forming one of the earliest grief groups in the country.  She then  founded Bereavement-A Magazine of Hope and Healing.  Andrea states that “talking to others who have survived similar circumstances is probably the best safety net you can find.”    Sometimes, it is simply a matter of having someone there to listen, who maybe experiencing a similar situation, to make one feel less alone.  It is important to be able to find a forum, a safe place with a non-threatening atmosphere to express feelings of loss.   That is the goal of Family Hospice grief support groups.   We sincerely hope you take the opportunity to join us at this FREE Spring Grief Support Group.

Groups will be held on Mondays from March 18-April 22 from 11 a.m.-noon. Family Hospice Bereavement Coordinator Carole Palmer is facilitating this group for attendees to share their feelings with others who are grieving.
