Bobbi Bronstein Award for Community Involvement

The Bobbi Bronstein Award for Community Involvement recognizes individuals or organizations that have made a significant contribution to further the mission of the Centre County Council for Human Services in helping to provide opportunities for the betterment of the community through collaboration, networking, and the promotion of volunteerism.

This award is named in honor of the late Roberta (Bobbi) Bronstein (September 6, 1942 – January 9, 2015). Bobbi was a tireless, selfless advocate and volunteer. She was the Program Director for Housing Transitions, Inc., for more than 30 years. She was a Rose Cologne Volunteer of the Year, nominated by the Centre Housing Committee, and in 2007 she received the Centre County Council for Human Services’ Ann Graybill Cook Volunteer of Distinction Award in 2007. Bobbi served on many Boards of Directors including Habitat for Humanity of Centre County and Centre County Council for Human Services (1996-2000). She was also one of the founding committee members of the Centre County Council for Human Services – Leadership Centre County Human Services Day Program.
