A bit more about our centers—we hold many events at the centers and other events outside the centers! Outside the centers? Yes! We’ve recently returned from a fifteen day trip to Alaska, a week-long stay in Ocean City, Maryland, and moonlight Kayaking! We also have line dancing, yoga, fishing, hiking, bridge, poker, Mah Jong, and many other active activities!

Does this sound like a Senior Center to you? If not, it should! With locations near to where we live, there is adventure to be found!

How do we fund these centers? Of course, Centre County Government through the Centre County Office of Aging is critical to all the centers for space and staff. What you may not know is that we also have a non-profit organization that raises awareness of our centers as well as funds for the activities with the centers.

Our non-profit is the Centre County Senior Center Coalition (CCSCC). More information about all the centers and CCSCC can be found at www.supportccscc.org. We are pleased to have been able to sponsor many activities and undertakings like the trips to Alaska, Ocean City, Wildwood, as well as plays at Sight and Sound and picnics at Raystown Lake to name only a few.

It is a fun, fun night to come out to our November Fest FUNdraiser! All funds support OUR Centre County Senior Centers. For more information, please call the Centre County Office of Aging at 355.6716.
